Account and data deletion

Tattis is provided by LaitonAI. Account and data deletion is fully self-service inside the app.
1. Delete your account in-app
Open Tattis → Settings → Delete account. The action:
- Deletes your Firebase authentication record (Apple or Google sign-in).
- Deletes all cloud-synced mushroom observations and markers.
- Signs you out immediately.
The action is final — cloud data cannot be recovered after deletion. There is no additional retention period.
2. Local data on your device
The app also keeps local data (mushroom spots, trips and settings) in your device's own memory in a SQLite database. After you delete the cloud account, local files remain until you uninstall the app yourself.
- Delete a single spot: open the spot → edit → delete.
- Clear the local cache: uninstall the Tattis app from your device.
3. laji.fi account (optional)
If you've separately signed in with laji.fi credentials and submitted observations to the laji.fi service through Tattis, those are managed by the Finnish Biodiversity Information Facility (FinBIF / Luomus) — not by Tattis.

4. Push notifications
The FCM token (the identifier used for push notifications) is automatically removed when you delete your account or uninstall the app. No separate action is required.
